Getting Ready for the Farmers' Market

I'm so excited to make my debut at the Andover Historical Society Farmer's Market this Saturday from 12:30-3:30pm. I've been working with AHS to photograph the rooms of the Amos Blanchard House as well as items from their collections, and they have been kind enough to have me join the Market this summer.

I'll have prints and note cards available as well as examples of gallery wraps in case anyone would like to order one. Please stop by and say hello -- I'll be outside near the barn next to the Historical Society table and hope to see lots of friendly faces! Don't miss the other artisan vendors, who will be displaying their work inside the Amos Blanchard House this year.

Here's a sneak peak at just some of the notecards I'll have available. Each package of six is $12.00.

Waiting for summer

Oh, this has been a long Spring. Of course it's a season that is so beautiful in many ways, but after days and days of rain and chilly weather, I am so ready for summer. I'm already dreaming of the flowers finally bursting open in the garden, and of our two weeks on Martha's Vineyard relaxing and having fun with visiting and on-island friends. I'm also planning a big trip with Grace and Ellie -- the three of us will hit the road to DC, with stop a stop in Philly and maybe NYC. Should be a fun time (providing they don't fight the whole car trip.)

This summer is also going to be an exciting time for me, as I make my debut selling my photography at the Andover Historical Society Farmers Market. I have been working with AHS to photograph the rooms and artifacts in the Amos Blanchard House and will be photographing some events for them in the near future. Thus, they have been kind enough  to allow me to sell my work at the Farmers Market on the days when they allow craft vendors as a supplement to the produce.

I've chosen to start off with just two dates, in order to get a feel for how it will go (I will confirm the dates soon!) I'll be selling packages of note cards, matted prints, a gallery wrap or two, and possibly some photo coasters I have been working on. I'll be sure to send out a reminder as I get closer as I would love to see some friendly faces!

So, with lots of fun and excitement on the horizon, and some big-time anticipation of warm weather on my part, the theme of this gallery is "Summer".... I hope it shows up soon!

Thanks for looking!
